USAGE & APPLICATION

ZA OPA™ Solution is ready to use. Thoroughly rinse the medical device by tap water before immersing it completely in a large volume of ZA OPA™ Solution. Keep the device totally immersed for a minimum of 5 minutes or more in duration. ZA OPA™ Solution is compatible with all kind of surgical instrument, orthopaedic instruments & implants. Flexible & Rigid Endoscopes, Anaesthetic Instruments, Dental instruments. Instruments for minimal invasive surgery and spares. ZA OPA™ Prepared Solution Shelf life is 14 days, Shelf life of Open bottle is 90 days and Shelf life of Closed bottle is 3 years.

DESCRIPTION

ZA OPA™ is Ortho-Phthalaldehyde (OPA) based High Level Disinfectant use to disinfect instrument as high level disinfectant,Use to reprocess semi-critical and critical reusable heat-sensitive medical devices, has all broad spectrum activity such as Mycobactericidal, Tuberculocidal, Bactericidal, Virucidal,Yeasticidal,Fungicidal and Sporicidal.ZA OPA™ is also compatible with Endoscopes, Surgical instruments and other accessories that cannot be sterilized using high temperatures.It is ready to use no mixing required and has low odour. With long lasting efficacy and rapid disinfection ZA OPA™ improves productivity allowing more instruments to be processed in less time.ZA OPA™ Solution is intended for use in manual (bucket and tray) systems made from polypropylene, acrylonitrile-butadiene- styrene (ABS), polyethylene, glass-filled polypropylene or polycarbonate plastics.ZA OPA™ Solution may also be used in automated endoscope repressors.

COMPATABILITY

ZA OPA™ is compatible to the following material: Stainless steel, PE, ceramics, Plastic (PEEK, PTFE, PC), Endoscopes: Flexible endoscope - polyurethane for the insertion tube, the lenses could be either glass (Borosilicate glass or fused silica) or plastic (polycarbonate) Rigid endoscope - stainless steel and other medical devices.

BEST PRACTICES FOR USE:

Pre-Cleaning: Devices must be thoroughly cleaned to remove organic debris before disinfection. Immersion: Immerse devices fully in the ZA OPA™ solution. Rinsing: Pre-Rinse devices with sterile, filtered water or tap water to remove residual before immersion to disinfect by ZA OPA™.
Monitoring: Regularly monitor the concentration of ZA OPA™ to ensure effectiveness.
